Kate Middleton and Prince William’s son signed up with the couple for a day out on the water with Grylls, as the three of them contended in a charity sailing race off the Island of Wight.
Grylls wound up winning the race– and according to Individuals, he praised the 6-year-old for consuming an ant during his acceptance speech.
“And likewise Prince George, your very first ant you ate today,” Grylls informed the crowd.
“And that is a terrific moment. Well done, you,” he included.
In an amusing turn of events, Middleton was disqualified from the tournament.
After a preliminary incorrect start, her boat was disqualified for not going back to the beginning line, meaning the duchess completed in last location.
While TV star Grylls was gifted the King’s Cup for preceding location, Middleton was awarded a wood spoon for her efforts.
William later on poked fun at his wife’s misery, writing on Instagram: “It’s the taking part that counts.”
The couple’s child, Princess Charlotte, was also there for the occasion. She had the crowd in hysterics after sticking her tongue out at them when Middleton tried to get her to wave.
