If the skipper does not contact you, the organizer will place you on the “Wants to Crew” list. The organizer will look for means and techniques for you to join the competition as a crew.

Marco Bitran Started in Community Boating in his Youthful Days

As a child, Marco Bitran learned and developed his abilities in sailing back on his days at the Community Boating, Inc. (CBI). Among the sailing centers in Boston, it is the oldest which was launched in 1946. Its mission statement is ” Sailing for All”. Water sports is the field where this facility excels. Its goal is to serve the people of Boston, irrespective of ages or skills.

As of this date, Marco Bitran is a member at the Boston Sailing Center. It’s not only memberships of the club that this club does but lessons on sailing as well. There are available choices for club memberships. The boat you have may decide which option you need to be in. Basic sailing skills are incorporated in the general classes should you want an individual lesson. Staying in Boston for a couple of numbers of days is not a problem since there are instructional programs designed for that purpose. For a shorter time of stay, choices and alternatives are available too. You can have a private training to match your schedule and jump-start your sailing skills.
